Commissioning a painting or portrait


Since most of my clients have never commissioned a piece of artwork, I try to take as much pressure off of the client and myself, as possible.  Most people worry about whether they will like the painting or not.  While I hope that my clients are serious about commissioning a portrait, there is no obligation to purchase the painting.  Of course, upon seeing the portrait the client is welcome to purchase it.  If they choose not to, then the painting is added to my portfolio and I am free to sell it as I wish.
